Day 8
Today we did a lot of driving. We left from Stathpeffer (north of Inverness) and drove over to Isle of Skye. While we were on Skye we (Keith and I) did get to catch the beginning of a traditional church service before we left. Yes our time on Skye was very short, but we made up for it by going a lot further north than we had planned with this trip. We saw some of the high Highlands. What a beautiful place the Highlands are. We saw a couple of huge waterfalls and lots of mountains. Once we got back to Strathpeffer we found an ancient Pictish stone. I love finding old things. This stone was suppose to be from the 4th century. That was it for the day. Tomorrow we head to Glasgow traveling by Loch Ness.
