The
Carolina Sky Sports (CSS) facility is a great place to learn and
play! The Drop Zone is one
of the most enjoyable in the nation!
The main building at CSS houses manifest, student training operations, Downwind Carolina Pro Shop, and rigging facilities. Connected to the main building is an observation deck. A separate building houses restroom and shower facilities, and has a deck with tables and chairs for visitors. Construction is complete on a new CASA-sized hangar, along with other updated facilities! The DZ also provides a bunkhouse for visiting jumpers and plenty of space for tent camping. There is limited RV hookup capability - call in advance. Ample parking is available! CSS is a private, skydiver-owned airport consisting of 100 acres of open land. CSS has one of the largest landing areas in the region, comfortably accommodating multi-aircraft loads (big enough for a 120-way!). Current FAI or USPA membership, helmet or frap hat, and logbook is required. An FAA waiver for non-US gear is in place! |
