Interesting History about Sherman and Marco:   (Or were you looking for info about the breed?)

Puppy Litter   Baby Sherman!   Baby Marco!

Here is the entire litter of Italian Greyhound puppies in late 1997. Marco is in the front (having his rump chewed) and Sherman is in the very back. These guys are part of the Mordecai kennel.

Here is Sherman (TN63480504 Ch. MORDECAI'S MAKING HEADS TURN), He later had several major wins at AKC shows.  Sherman has a beefy attitude and appearance.  He was a cute puppy!

This is Marco (TN63480502 Ch. MORDECAI'S PICTURE PERFECT) who turned out to be an exceptional show dog, with significant standing in the AKC competition!  Marco is slender, sweet and shy.

This is Monty, Sherman and Marco's little brother receiving an award for "Best of Breed"!   Monty strutting his stuff during the show with Ken Wall, his handler.

Note: All the credit and work for Sherman’s and Marco’s Championships goes to his breeder (Dr. Joel Fisher) and handlers. Nonetheless, I am a “proud father” of my adopted boys! I’m sometimes asked why weren’t Sherman and Marco “put out to stud”. Well, because of the wonder of technology! Any of Sherman or Marco’s “stud” services needed can be kept in a nitrogen canister and shipped via FedEx!
